Flat Link Collars

Flat link collars are the only type of collar endorsed by Eric Salas. The collars sold on this website are the only flat link collars designed exclusively for Eric Salas. In and out of the ring, it is the perfect tool for proper communication with your dog when training or showing. The clicking sound and vibration signal your dog without any harsh correction. The design and finest materials ensure that it won't break coat. They are available in a variety of thicknesses - 1.5/1.6mm for small to medium size breeds or well trained large breeds who do not pull, 2.0mm chains are for large dogs or dogs who pull on the lead. We also have 2.5 mm chains if requested/needed.

To order

Measure around the widest part of your dog's head, usually over the ears, then add two inches. Round up to the next nearest even number. Include this measurement in the text box when you order.

Leather Leads

Leads without any snaps, beads, or decorations are the best to train and show on. They allow for proper communication with your dog so they can understand and follow your every request without any distraction. These leads are soft yet strong and made of the highest quality bullhide leather to last years. We offer flat leather leads in black, dark brown, and cream. They are available in a three thicknesses - 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".

Kangaroo Leather Show Leads

For beautiful quality Kangaroo Leather show leads that can be made as Eric Salas recommends - 6 foot long and no snaps or beads.
Eric recommends you order the following options when you order a Kangaroo Leather Show Lead
  • 6 feet in length
  • 4 strand lead - for toy, small, medium, or trained large or giant breeds / 6 strand lead - for medium, large, or giant breeds
  • Handle Length - 2 in small thumb loop
  • Decorative Options - no beads or bling - all leather
  • End of Lead - Braided Loop End
  • Additional Considerations - leather only - Protectant Coating if using outside
